Furrow

Large-scale woven sculpture commissioned by Sunny Bank Mills for Material Matters 12 June - 1 August 2021

Furrow is a sculpture comprising a paid a long panel and a short panel which hang together. It divides space, but invites the viewer to look through and inside the form, tracing the lines which move form one side to the other forming pockets of space in-between.

Furrow is not quite a curtain, not quite a wall. It’s form references the form of doorways and a window-frames.
