Yarn windings are mini textile artworks created by wrapping and placing thread around card. Mounted onto card they make beautiful, special greetings cards.

In this session you’ll make at least one mini-textile artwork and mount it onto a greetings card, ready for posting or framing.

All materials and equipment will be provided.  Through this mindful process, you can enjoy the feeling of materials in your hands, appreciate the colours, textures and magic of yarns.  You can create compositions of stripes and blocks, layers and patterns with thread. The process is playful and satisfying.

Join Hannah for this session to create textile artworks in thread, she will guide you to create different patterns and compositions as you go along.
